Packs

A pack holds 5 cards. You get a new one every 10 minutes and can keep up to 10 in reserve: come back before it's full so you don't miss any.

Out of luck? At least every 10 packs, you're guaranteed a Trending card or better.

Rarities

There are six rarities, from Common to Legendary, and each card has a 1% chance of being shiny.

A video's rarity doesn't depend on its YouTube views: it comes from its creator's fame, then from what players do. On the first Monday of each month, the most wished-for, showcased and fought-over videos gain rarity; the others lose some. An ↑ or ↓ arrow on the card shows the trend.

Your collection

Organise your cards with favourites and tags, and show off the best ones in your showcases (up to 10 showcases of 12 cards, visible to your friends).

You can discard a card for HypeCoins: from 1 for a Common to 600 for a Legendary, triple if it's shiny. The "Duplicates" filter helps you sort.

HypeCoins and market

HypeCoins are earned by discarding cards and through the login calendar. They can't be bought or sold for real money.

At the market, auction your cards (up to 3 sales at once) or bid on other players' cards. A bid in the last minute extends the auction by one minute. If you're outbid, your HypeCoins come straight back. The seller receives the final price minus a 5% commission.

Friends and trades

Add friends with their friend code (Friends page). You'll see their collection and showcases, and you can offer each other trades of cards and HypeCoins.

To trade, you need a confirmed account: verified email and 20 packs opened. An unanswered offer expires after 48 hours.

Login calendar

Every day, a reward box to open: HypeCoins or packs, more and more generous. Every 7 days, a special pack, up to the guaranteed Legendary pack on day 30. Miss a day and you start again from day 1.

This week's new cards

Every Monday, the latest videos from the YouTube channels in the game become cards, with a "New" badge for one week. You'll find them more often in packs that week, and the "This week's new cards" filter shows them all.

Premium

Optional: a pack every 3 minutes and up to 20 packs in reserve. Packs and odds are the same as for everyone.

What about creators?

Cards show public videos through the YouTube API Services, with a link to the video. A creator can remove their channel from the game at any time: their cards then become "retired cards".
